Vancouver is home to one of the world's great urban cherry blossom displays — over 43,000 trees spanning 60+ cultivars. The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates this heritage each spring. Stanley Park's 500 Ojochin cherries gifted in 1925 make it the oldest documented sakura site in Canada.
